Passion Fruit & Caramelized Banana French Toast
Maple syrup, cocoa powder and hazelnuts.
Ingredients
- 4 thick slices Brioche
- 3 Eggs
- ½ cup Milk
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2, sliced Bananas
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 2 Passion fruit
- to serve Maple syrup
- 1 tsp Cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp, chopped Hazelnuts
- 2–3 tbsp Fogato passion fruit orange compote (optional)
Steps
- Whisk the eggs, milk and cinnamon and soak the brioche.
- Cook in butter until golden on both sides.
- Caramelize the bananas with brown sugar in the same pan.
- Top with bananas, passion fruit or a spoonful of Fogato passion fruit orange compote, maple, cocoa and hazelnuts.
